They read the room better than any band we have had at the venue. Dinner volume at dinner, then the floor was full until the last song.
We gave them three songs to learn and a do-not-play list. They nailed all three and kept our guests out of the playlist argument.

Self-contained, easy to plug in.
Hospitality
Five band members and one sound tech. A hot meal for six at the vendor meal time, water and soft drinks near the stage.
Travel party
Six people, one van and one trailer. Two parking spots near the load-in door.
What we need from the venue
A 16 by 12 foot stage or floor space, covered if outdoors. Two 20-amp circuits on separate breakers within 50 feet. Load-in 90 minutes before guests arrive.
Backline
We bring everything: PA, monitors, lights, drums, amps and keys. Nothing for the venue to provide.

Who we are.
The Saturday Linens started in 2018 when five working Charlotte musicians, tired of playing the same fifty songs in three different cover bands, decided to build one band and do it properly. Dana Whitlock and Cole Mercer split lead vocals, which means the band can cover everything from Aretha to Bruno Mars without changing the key.
A typical wedding looks like this: an acoustic trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour, quiet dinner music, then three dance sets that move from Motown and soul through the 80s and 90s to current radio. They learn one new song for every couple, handle announcements and the timeline with your planner, and bring their own sound and lighting for rooms up to 300 guests.
They have played barns, ballrooms, tents, rooftops and one memorable ferry. The stage plot, power needs and load-in requirements are in the Downloads section so your venue can say yes quickly.
